Our specialty is getting those with "less than stellar credit" into good, reliable automobiles.

Toyota RAV4

You can't beat the Toyota RAV4. Whether you're looking for a compact or a midsize SUV, the 2006-2016 era RAV4s have a lot to offer. For drivers who want a smaller vehicle, go for the 5-passenger RAV4. It has a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine delivers up to 24 mpg city/30 mpg hwy. For more, there's the 268-hp 3.5-liter V6 RAV4 which offers powerful acceleration and great Toyota reliability. You can usually find a well-equipped, well-maintained pre-owned RAV4 for a very budget-friendly price.

Chevrolet Equinox

The Chevy Equinox is an attractive, comfortable SUV that is closer to midsize range. The Equinox offers a lot of other features, including a 2.4-liter 4-banger that pumps out 182 horsepower and returns up to 32 mpg on the highway. For those that need a few more ponies, a 264-hp 3.0-liter V6 was sold during the 2010-2014 time-frame. Standard items on the Equinox include a 7-inch touchscreen, a backup camera, heated front seats and remote starting. The best news is that we get these in at Loan Approval Centers quite often and the 2010-2014 models are usually priced at $15,000 or less.

Ford Edge

Like the Chevrolet Equinox we discussed above, the Ford Edge also straddles the line between compact and midsize. Early models are excellent, with a 265-hp V6 and include such features as keyless entry, alloy wheels and an auxiliary port for music. Those that like a little telemetry in their cars will want to look at the 2011 and up models that include the MyFord Touch infotainment system. The best part about the Edge is that earlier models (2007-2008) usually sell for less than $10,000.

Honda CR-V

If there ever is an SUV that is in demand, it is the Honda CR-V. The main reason is dependability. For years, J.D. Power has given the CR-V a perfect 5-circle score in its Power Circle Ratings, indicating reliability that's among the best. Another draw is gas mileage; the 2007-2011 models feature a 166-hp 4-cylinder that checks in with 20 mpg city/27 mpg hwy, which is excellent for any crossover regardless of size. There's also a great interior with a lot of passenger and cargo volume. You get all of this for around $10,000 or less on average for a 2007 model.

One of the first steps in shopping for a vehicle is to determine exactly what your daily driving needs are, as well as a budget. The evolution of the SUV has provided drivers with a nice alternative to the minivan, if you need extra passenger room. SUVs also, in general, offer a good amount of power for towing and hauling, as well as cargo room. Whether you are in search of a small, medium, or full-sized SUVs, you will find some amazing choices at our Loan Approval Center locations.
