RAM 1500 Trim Levels Explained

The Ram 1500 has been fully redesigned for the 2019 model year. It has an all-new look and some incredible new features. It even has increased payload and towing capacities. Read on below to learn about the various trim levels that are available to choose from!

Tradesman: This is the base trim level, however you would never know it considering how well equipped it is. The Tradesman comes standard with a Class III hitch receiver, trailer sway control, 18-inch steel wheels, a Uconnect infotainment system with a 5" touchscreen interface, Bluetooth, a rearview camera, a rear-seat USB charging ports, a backup camera, keyless entry and ignition, air conditioning, automatic headlights, and heated side mirrors.

Big Horn: Next up is the Big Horn model. This model comes with a few more standard features. These include 18" alloy wheels, fog lights, and a rear bench seat with 60/40 split folding. There are some other features that are available to add on to this trim such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, 20" wheels, power-adjustable pedals, an 8.4" touchscreen, LED headlights and taillights, power-adjustable pedals, and side steps.

Rebel: This is the trim to get if you like adventures beyond the paved road. The Rebel comes with a 3.92 axle ratio, front tow hooks, specialized off-road tires, skid plates, fortified suspension and shocks, a 115V power outlet, a bigger driver information display, LED fog and headlights, and hill descent control, an electronic-locking rear axle, and a Class IV hitch receiver.

Laramie: This is where things start to get downright luxurious. Standard features for the Laramie include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8.4" touchscreen, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather upholstery, a power-adjustable front seats with 40/20/40 split-folding, front and rear parking sensors, heated and ventilated front seats, driver-seat memory functions, a heated steering wheel, a 155V rear seat outlet, two additional rear-seat USB ports, and dual-zone automatic climate control,

Longhorn: The Longhorn steps things up even farther in the luxury department. Standard features include front bucket seats with enhanced leather upholstery, automatic wipers, a spray-in bed liner, a power tailgate release, chrome side steps, 20" wheels, heated, ventilated, and reclining rear seats, a navigation system, a leather-wrapped wood steering wheel, automatic high beams, a power tailgate release, and automatic wipers.

Limited: The Limited is at the very top of the line. It comes standard with just about every tech features you imagine. And for the ones that don't come standard, they are available. Standard features include an adjustable air suspension, blind-spot monitoring, chrome exterior trim, premium-leather bucket seats power-retractable side steps, and rear cross-traffic alert.
