The Earnhardt family donated $75,000 to the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children and their Ava’s Treehouse program — in memory of Tex Earnhardt, the founder whose vision built everything that came after. Ava’s Treehouse provides financial assistance, emotional support, and essential resources to Arizona families navigating a child’s cancer diagnosis. This donation is a tribute to Tex’s belief that success is only meaningful when you share it with the people around you.
The number was not a coincidence. As part of their 75th anniversary celebration, the Earnhardt family donated $12,575 to Make-A-Wish Arizona — a nod to the milestone year that made the gift possible. Make-A-Wish Arizona creates life-changing experiences for children with critical illnesses, giving them and their families a moment of pure joy in the middle of one of life’s hardest seasons. The Earnhardt family is proud to play a small part in making those moments happen, because 75 years of business means nothing without the community that made it possible.
The Arizona summer is hardest on families already stretched thin, and when school lets out, the meals kids count on stop with it. As part of their 75th anniversary giving, the Earnhardt family donated $22,500 to St. Mary’s Food Bank, enough to cover 75,000 meals and 75,000 bottles of water. Earnhardt employees stayed after the presentation to work a shift preparing food boxes. After 75 years in Arizona, the family knows what these summers take out of people.
Some children in Arizona face days no child should have to face. Child Crisis Arizona meets them there, with emergency shelter, foster care, adoption services and support for the families working to stay together. As part of their 75th anniversary giving, the Earnhardt family donated $25,075 to Child Crisis Arizona. The number carries the milestone inside it, but the reason behind it is simpler than that. After 75 years in this state, the Earnhardt family knows a community is measured by how it treats its most vulnerable.
