Keeping kids active and involved in sports is a top priority for many Valley parents, but sometimes the cost of equipment can be too much. That's why ABC15 Arizona is partnering with Earnhardt Auto Centers, BIG 94.5, KMLE and LIVE 101.5 for the 2nd Chance Sports Gear Drive.
Now through February 29, 2024 you can donate your new or used sports gear equipment at any Earnhardt dealership in the Valley. All donated new and used sports gear will be given to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley to help make recreational youth sports accessible and affordable for youth and teens alike. The sports equipment from this drive will help ensure equity for all players, all team members, by providing them with equipment to take home and run drills with their siblings and their parents.Some of the items needed include:
- Football: Balls, helmets
- Soccer: Balls, bags
- Basketballs
- Baseball/Softball: Bats, gloves, balls
- Volleyball: Balls
- Kickballs/dodgeballs
